Architectural Advisory Committee Meeting, Thursday, July 10: Aaron’s Beach Inn Proposal
The City of Half Moon Bay has begun public review of a proposed project known as Aaron’s Beach Inn, located at 4150 Cabrillo Highway North, between Sam’s Chowder House and the Beach House Hotel.
The current proposal includes:
- A three-story hotel with 20 guest rooms featuring kitchenettes and a rooftop deck
- A front parking lot with access from Cabrillo Highway, bicycle parking, landscaping, and a trash enclosure
- A swimming pool and patio area at the rear of the property, with a walking path connecting to the Coastal Trail
- Public coastal access and dedicated coastal access parking
Given the site’s proximity to bluff face, dunes, and marine habitat, the project is subject to environmental review, including a Biological Resource Evaluation (BRE) and a 45-day public comment period. See the link below for more information on the BRE and comment period.
Biological Resource Evaluation
