4. Program Information

   Thank you for applying for the City of Half Moon Bays indoor bin program. This program is for local businesses who wish to apply for a free set of compost and recycling bins for your business. To be eligible, you must be a business located within the City of Half Moon Bay. The bins will be given away to eligible businesses on a first-come, first-serve basis. The bins come in two different sizes and will be given based on the business type, with the larger bins being prioritized for restaurants and food-serving businesses. 

   For food-serving businesses, we request that bins be placed in the front of house to serve customers if you do not already have customer-facing compost and recycling bins. We also require recipients to send us a picture of them with their new bins. These pictures may be sent to the California Department of Resources Recycling and Recovery (CalRecycle) for grant reporting purposes, as well as for advertising purposes for the program sponsors. Bins are only available while supplies last.
