The City of Half Moon Bay's Master Fee schedule includes development impact fees, application and permit fees, program fees, fines and penalties, as well as fees for a variety of other services.

Special Districts that may have independent fees associated with development projects within Half Moon Bay include the following:

  • Coastside Fire Protection District
  • Coastside County Water District
  • El Granada Community Services District

Affordability Requirements

In Half Moon Bay every residential subdivision of ten or more lots or dwelling units and condominium conversion projects of ten or more units shall include one or more below market rate dwelling units in accordance with Chapter 18.35 of the Municipal Code.
